How do I register? By clicking in the menu on ‘register’, you will find yourself on the register page, where you can enter your e-mail address and create your own account with a personal password. After clicking on the continue button, your account has been saved and you can continue with the rest of your registration. Click continue again and fill out your personal information that are needed to be able to sell and buy on Marketstuff. At the end of the registration procedure you have the opportunity to choose between Free membership or the Full membership. Buying and selling on Marketstuff is 100% free but, when you register yourself as a Full member, you can benefit from various privileges that will enhance selling and buying your stuff. When you followed these steps and made the payment (when you chose to become a Full member), you have a complete account and you are able to use all the services that Marketstuff has to offer. How do I log in to my Marketstuff account? You can log in to your account by clicking the ‘Register/Log in’ button in the top menu. • Click ‘Log in’. • Fill in your e-mail address and password. • Click ‘Log in’. You can log out by clicking the ‘Log out’ link under My Marketstuff. I have forgotten my password, what do I need to do? If you forgot your password, you can easily get your password: • Click on the link ‘forgot password’, which you can find under ‘log in’. • Fill in your e-mail address. • Click on the button ‘Next’. • Your password has been send to your e-mail address. Attention! Check your ‘unwanted items inbox’ (Hotmail) or spam in case you do not receive your e-mail in your inbox. How can I change my password? Changing your password: • Log in with your e-mail address and password. • Go to ‘My Marketstuff’. • Click on ‘Change password’. • Fill in your old password and twice your new password. • Click on ‘Change password’. Your password has successfully been changed. How do I place an ad? Placing an ad: • First log in with your account. • Click on the button ‘Place your stuff’ on the right or in the top menu. • Choose between ‘I want to sell’ or ‘I am looking for’. • Choose the category and the subcategory in which you want to place your ad. Hint: Look at similar ads to see which category to choose. • Fill out all the required fields and click on ‘Publish ad’. How much does it cost to place an ad? Placing an ad, buying stuff and selling stuff is completely FREE of charge. However, do you want your ads to stand out in the crowd and speed up the selling process? You can choose to become a Full member. You only invest the small amount of €9,95 or €12,95 (dependent on if you choose to immediately become a Full member or choose to become one later) to make use of the extra privileges for a whole year, which will enhance you selling your stuff even faster. How can I delete an ad? Deleting an ad on My Marketstuff • Log in with your e-mail address and password. • Go to ‘My Marketstuff’. • Click on ‘My ads’ or ‘My Books’ (if the ad you wish to delete is a book). • Click in your ad on delete. • Confirm this ones again. Your ad has successfully been deleted. How do I sell or buy stuff on Marketstuff? Buying: For example, you are looking for a bike, sofa, microwave, etc. and you have found an ad on Marketstuff that your really want to have. To contact the seller of this item, you first need to make sure that you have an account on Marketstuff. You can easily register yourself by clicking ‘register’. Once you are registered, you are able to look at the ads in more detail and you can contact the seller by clicking on the tab ‘Contact seller’. At the same time you can send the seller a message. After you have clicked on the ‘Contact seller’ button, the seller will receive your message and contact information directly and is able to contact you instantly. Selling: As well as with buying, you first have to have an account to sell. If you are already registered, the selling process starts with placing your stuff. Dependent on the type of registered membership you have, (Free or Full membership) your ads will be placed on top of the product overview. Full member ads have even more exposure. In case someone wants to buy one of your products, you will receive an e-mail with the contact information and message of this person. At this moment you can communicate with the buyer and you are able to make mutual arrangements about the handling of the deal. Selling is 100% FREE on Marketstuff. How can I contact the buyer? When someone is interested in buying your stuff you will receive an e-mail with the contact information of the potential buyer. You are then able to contact the seller yourself. Selling and buying on Marketstuff is 100% FREE. What is the difference between a Free membership and a Full membership? The difference between a Free membership and a Full membership are the privileges that you have when becoming a Full member. Here you will see an overview of the two types of membership.
